- Mix the apple slices with the lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes.
- Cut the puff pastry in half (or thirds if you prefer less “puff” around the edges of your tart). Place the puff pastry strips on a non-stick baking sheet or a regular pan lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single straight, overlapping stack on top the puff pastry strips.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the pan from the oven, and transfer the tart immediately onto a serving tray. Allow tart to cool.
- Top the tart with powdered sugar. Try using a sifter spoon or shaker for a more even layer of sugar.
