We Can't Take Our Eyes Off This New Blogger-Designed Cabin in Tennessee

Shelter + Roost

The folks at Shelter + Roost have done it again. The family-owned vacation rental company that brought us this dream cottage and this idyllic farmhouse has added a sixth property to its lineup. Located in the sleepy little town of Leiper"s Fork, Tennessee, 30 miles southwest of Nashville, this charming cabin features interiors designed by Kim Leggett of City Farmhouse.

Take a sneak peek at the two-bedroom, one-bath house below, and get the rest of the tour here.

The country abode, named "Nest," sits on 10 acres. You won't be able to get cell reception (sorry, boss!) but Wi-Fi and a landline phone are available. There are two tree swings, including one at the edge of a creeks that runs through the property.

The porch's full-size bed swing is perfect for whiling away the afternoon with a good book and a glass of iced tea.

At just 1,100 square feet, the open floor plan provides a light and airy feel, making the cabin seem much larger than it is.

While Leiper's Fork has no shortage of farm-fresh cafes and yummy restaurants, the cabin's dining table is a cozy spot to gather for a meal or game of cards

.

We admit to overindulging in desserts while on vacation. At least at the Nest—with its kitchen stocked with pots, pans, and bakeware and has plenty of counter space—the sweets can be homemade.

Beautiful gingham drapery, a masculine chandelier, and a paneled accent wall dress up this simple yet chic master bedroom.

We're huge fans of using subway tile in the bathroom. This gorgeous, tiled walk-in shower features a rainfall shower head—a touch of luxury for a country water closet.

The upstairs loft sleeps two, with matching twin beds. Its wall of stacked books gives the room a dramatic focal point.

The stone patio out back has an outdoor shower and a fire pit—a wonderful place to unwind in the evenings. We're thinking s'mores and hot cider are in order!
